Mr Julian Wright
Research Fellow
Julian Wright is working on the Arkiris project in the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences. He has carried out research on and project-managed EPSRC, EU, MRC, NIHR, TSB and DTI projects, and has been individually or jointly responsible for delivering over £1.5million in research grant income in the past 4 years. He gained a B.Sc in Electroacoustics and a M.Sc in Applied Acoustics at the University of Salford and conducted commercial audio and acoustics research for 17 years at Celestion and KEF, culminating in 4 years as Head of Research. He has worked extensively in acoustic Finite Element Analysis and acoustic metrology, including laser vibrometry, Digital Signal Processing and data acquisition. Julian is a Fellow of the Institute of Acoustics and a Member of the Performing Right Society.
