Profile

Dr Donald Nyawako is a Post Doctoral Researcher in the Department and member of the Vibration Engineering Section. He is currently working on an EPSRC research grant entitled “Active Control of Human-Induced Vibration”. His research interests are in the area of vibration serviceability and mitigation of human induced vibrations in floor structures, primarily by making use of Active Control, Semi-Active Control and Passive Vibration Mitigation techniques. A huge part of this work includes development of suitable Reduced Order Models for analytical studies, development of suitable vibration mitigation algorithms and experimental implementations.
