Prof Dragan Savic presents at CCWI 2016

CWS Academics and Students at CCWI 2016 in The Netherlands

A number of CWS academics and students recently attended the 14th International Computing and Control for the Water Industry Conference (CCWI) held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The conference theme was ‘water systems modelling and control with special attention to translating and applying the scientific work in practice’.

Prof Zoran Kapelan did a key note lecture entitled Working Together with the Water Industry, see the abstract. Prof Dragan Savic presented the new MOEA GALAXY and Dr David Walker, Multi-objective Optimisation of a Water Distribution Network with a Sequence-based Selection Hyper-heuristic. WISE CDT student Josh Myrans also presented his PhD work on identifying faults in sewer pipes.
