The Novatech Conference in Lyon, 2016

CWS Staff and Students attend Novatech Conference in Lyon

The Novatech international conference focuses on sharing knowledge on the sustainable management of water in cities. The conference consisted of three days with four parallel sessions exploring state of the art research into strategic planning, stormwater flood management, stormwater pollution, catchment management and network design.

Prof Butler chaired a number of  sessions on Public Policy and Finance and sustaniability and WISE CDT Student James Webber said of the conference  Novatech 2016 was a fantastic opportunity to see a wide variety of research presented by global experts in the discipline of urban water management. I’ve returned from the event with new perspectives on the challenges I am investigating as part of my own work. My EPSRC funded WISE CDT studentship has been a gateway to provide these sorts of opportunities.
