Prestigious IWA Fellowship Awarded to Professor Zoran Kapelan

Professor Zoran Kapelan from the Centre for Water Systems at the University of Exeter has been awarded a prestigious fellowship from the International Water Association (IWA).

Professor Zoran Kapelan from the Centre for Water Systems at the University of Exeter has been awarded a prestigious fellowship from the International Water Association (IWA). Fellows are elected by the IWA Board of Directors and represent a small select group of internationally leading water professionals who have made and are continuing to make a distinguished contribution to the fields of water science, technology and management. Fellows are active ambassadors for the IWA demonstrating the very best of its membership.

Professor Kapelan is Professor of Water Systems Engineering with 23 years of research and consulting experience in various water engineering disciplines, both in the UK and abroad. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of IWA and several other professional organisations. He is an elected member of the IWA/IAHR/IAHS hydroinformatics management committee and several IWA specialist groups. He is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management (ASCE) and an editorial board member of the Journal of Hydroinformatics (IWA).
