We are a group working on development of novel and state-of-the-art numerical techniques and computer models for a wide range of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering applications. 

The primary interests of our group lie in the areas of:

  • Finite element analysis of geotechnical engineering problems.

  • Modelling of sea water intrusion and the effects on groundwater quality and desalination processes.
  • Stochastic finite element method and application to modelling of contaminant transport in unsaturated soils.
  • Decision support system for sustainable management of contaminated land.

  • Application of data mining techniques for constitutive modelling of soils.
