BSc IT Management for Business

Programme structure

This course teaches you to apply IT to business situations and to become confident in project and team management in IT business scenarios. We offer a successful combination of practical training combined with academic study. Teamwork and group project skills are also prominent, encouraging you to develop key people management skills and presentation techniques.

Year 1

The first year of this programme aims to give you a firm foundation in the fundamentals of programming and computer systems, alongside core topics in business and management.

Year 2

This year builds on the first year, developing your skills and allowing you to specialise through optional modules.

Year 3

In this final year you can choose modules to develop your interests in a number of directions. To maintain a balance you must choose some computer science and some management modules. You will also undertake a substantial project on the interface of computing and business.
